Welcome one and all to our humble but expanding OnLine Magazine. We are happy to be here. All of this came from a dream I've had for about two years. One night after too much pizza and caffeine I started to put together rough thoughts and well, here we are.
One man apparently can't move a mountain, so together with the new 1984 Apple OnLine Magazine team we are going to set about listening to the people who count...YOU! Your feedback to us means a great deal. This is your magazine. What do you want to hear about? Has something got to you lately? Then tell us.
All the people working on 1984 do it for the love and not the money. Non profit making and just covering the costs, mean the team writes and reviews because they WANT to and not HAVE to. This is very important for without this level of commitment to what we enjoy, none of this would mean a thing.
All at 1984 know that if they can't make a deadline, they can have more time. We don't have time for power hungry overlords here. We all enjoy showing our work and sharing our thoughts with you. I hope the information we give you will build up into a mini archive of little technical know-hows and stories to remember.
The Apple Mac community is a great one and an ever-growing one. From the Apple II to the powerful G3's we all use and abuse our computers. 1984 was a great year and so will 1998.
